What was the greatest life lesson you ever received?

At the end of a weekend visit to his grandfather, a 35-year old New York investment banker, asked an important question. "What was the greatest life lesson you ever received?" His grandfather thought for a moment and replied, "Work-life balance got to be the one. Yea, that has to be. To always remember that other things may change in our lives, but we start and end with our families. To remember what Rabbi Harold Kushner said, ”Nobody on their deathbed has ever said, 'I wish I had spent more time at the office.' ” Don't be so busy in your career that you neglect your family.
